a unique farm experience just for our little ones

Little ones learn with their whole bodies.

Sensory activities for young learners are critical for whole body learning and growth! By engaging in sensory play at the farm, students are introduced to a plethora of new experiences and touch/sounds/smells as well as socialization opportunities in a small-group setting!

What does a class look like?

  • Beginning with our trademark Stewardship class, feeding the goats or brushing the horses or petting the bunnies, we start the class with empathy and our SEL objective

  • children then embark on mini riding sessions focusing on confident, strong bodies while also engaging in sensory play and mindfulness in the HAYLOFT classroom

  • followed by snack and conversation, where we then put on our mud bibs and rain boots because it’s time

  • we run, explore, and imagine in our outdoor classroom through inquiry-based play whether that be creating mud paint, fairy houses, or nature scavenger hunts

sensory immersion is vital for brain development

Parents have always been keenly aware of the importance of the first five years of a child’s life. And for good reason! Sensory immersion supports healthy brain development, which is critical because 90% of the brain is developed by the age of five! Join the dream pack for our weekly farm classes and help your child gain a tool-kit of SEL life skills so that they can regulate their big feelings in a way that feels good and create friendships with two and four footed friends.

Jump start your child’s learning and development of social/emotional skills through a unique sensory curriculum on an actual working farm today!

Students must commit to the full term in the fall or spring session. Summer weeks are also available via our summer camp!
